Our research campus in Columbia and four-year campuses in Aiken, Upstate and Beaufort deliver world-class education, quality and important access to brighter futures. But we are especially proud that our two-year regional campuses in Salkehatchie, Union, Lancaster and Sumter put a higher education within reach of over 4,300 students who rely on the campus' proximity to earn their associate or bachelor degree.
All of our campuses place strong emphasis on serving their communities through their libraries, performing and cultural arts venues, small business development services and other special programs.
Accessible education is essential in strengthening South Carolina's economy. Opportunities like our rural nursing partnership program at USC Salkehatchie and USC Lancaster enable students to live at home while obtaining a B.S. in Nursing. It's programs like these that make the University of South Carolina proud to play such a vital role in the prosperity, health and vibrancy of our state. Carolina changes everything.
